Improving the quality of life for residents of Hudson & Hudson Township.

The Kuchan Foundation was created to leave a legacy that would benefit the people of the Hudson area, and express how much Art & Kay enjoyed living here.

THE KUCHANS
Art & Carrie Mae “Kay”
married and came to live in the Hudson area after Art became a partner in the International Harvester dealership with Earl Kaufman in 1951. Art and Kay both grew up in small Illinois villages, and when they moved here they came to love this community and its people.
ART Kuchan
Art loved flying and had a deep appreciation for farmland. Whether in the air or standing on the edge of a field, he kept an eye on the horizon and planned ahead. A few years before he passed away in 2013, Art made arrangements to leave a legacy benefitting the people of Hudson and the area, and express how much he and Kay enjoyed living here.

Carrie Mae “Kay” Kuchan

Her Lake Bloomington neighbors fondly remember her hospitality and kindness to others. Kay passed away in 2004.
